About This Model

The Peavey Impact 1 comes from an interesting period of Peavey's USA guitar production during the mid-1980s.

While vintage USA-made models such as the T-60 have become increasingly well known, the Impact Series is encountered far less frequently and represents Peavey's move toward the more performance-oriented electric guitar designs that became popular during the 1980s.

The Impact 1 features the unmistakable styling of the era, with its sculpted double-cutaway body, pointed headstock, versatile pickup configuration, and player-focused hardware.

A particularly cool feature of this example is the factory-installed Kahler tremolo system. Kahler bridges were a major part of the high-performance guitar movement of the 1980s and were used by numerous manufacturers and professional players during the period.

Combined with its USA construction and Grey finish, this is a distinctive piece of mid-'80s Peavey guitar history and a cool alternative to the company's better-known vintage models.
