Gibson Custom Shop ’57 Les Paul Goldtop Reissue – VOS

Gibson Custom Shop ’57 Les Paul Goldtop Reissue from 2010 featuring a nitrocellulose VOS finish, solid mahogany body, two-piece plain maple top, and mahogany neck with a chunky C-shaped profile.

Built to historic specifications, with period-correct details including a lightweight aluminum stop bar, no-wire ABR-1 bridge, Kluson single-line tuners, and Indian rosewood fingerboard. The VOS finish gives it a subtle aged appearance without the heavy wear of a relic.

The stock pickups have been upgraded to a pair of Lollar Imperial humbuckers, paired with CTS 500K audio taper pots and paper-in-oil capacitors. The Lollars offer a clear, articulate vintage PAF-style voice, with a balanced response and plenty of dynamic range.
