The Ernie Ball Music Man Jason Richardson 7-String Cutlass is a signature model developed around Jason Richardson’s technical playing style, combining a lightweight Cutlass-derived body with extended-range capability, high-performance hardware, and versatile active electronics.

The Rorschach Red version features an alder body with a figured buckeye burl top, natural 3/16" wood binding, a high-gloss finish, and gold hardware. A figured roasted maple neck with ebony fingerboard, 15" radius, and 24 stainless-steel Medium Jumbo frets provides a fast, precise playing surface with excellent upper-fret access.

A pair of custom Music Man 7-string ceramic humbuckers is paired with an active preamp and Silent Circuit. The push/push volume control engages a gain boost, while the push/push tone control provides coil splitting for expanded tonal flexibility.
