A compact "Shorty Deluxe Solid Body Travel Guitar" designed to fit in an airplane's overhead compartment.

This is the Hofner Shorty Deluxe. It features a basswood body, a maple neck, a full-scale string length, and is equipped with a Hofner open humbucker.

Changing the Strings on a Shorty Guitar
To change the strings, youfll need to remove the bridge. Loosen all the strings and detach them from the tuners. Loosen the two large screws securing the bridge, then pull the bridge backward and lift it up. You can now remove the old strings and attach the new ones to the back of the bridge. Replace the bridge and lightly tighten the two screws. You can then wind the new strings onto the appropriate tuners.

Although there are some signs of use (scratches, wipe marks, picking marks, etc.), the guitar is in good condition.

It was set up (cleaned and restrung) upon arrival; the frets are at a height suitable for playing, and the truss rod has been checked up to 60 degrees on both sides and is in good condition (slightly tight).
