A-Designs HM2EQ Hammer Dual-Channel Tube EQ

I’ve used this HM2EQ exclusively in my smoke-free home studio and have treated it with exceptional care throughout my ownership.

What I’ve always valued about the Hammer is how effortlessly it brings a mix into focus. Even subtle adjustments can add weight, openness, depth, and that final sense of polish while preserving the natural character of the source.

It features dual-mono operation, three overlapping EQ bands per channel, ±12 dB boost/cut, selectable frequencies from 30 Hz–15 kHz, floating Q, low/high-cut filters, bypass, and 12AT7 tube stages.

I’ve especially enjoyed it on mix bus, vocals, drums, guitars, and synths when I wanted the sound to feel larger, smoother, more dimensional, and naturally finished.

The original HM2EQ is now discontinued, and clean examples are becoming harder to find. This one has been carefully maintained and is ready to go directly into a serious recording, mixing, or mastering setup.
