Original vintage 1976 Gibson bicentennial Firebird in gorgeous playing condition, complete with custom flight case!
A gorgeous example of this classic axe, first year production, with 3 PICKUPS!!! An added middle position original patent stamp pickup is controlled by the third volume (blend) knob, with normal switching, and master tone control. (VVVT).
She sounds absolutely amazing, with a huge variety of tonal combinations, from full on, to stratty. The original Pat no mini humbuckers just scream, and you‘ll be doing Johnny winters toute de suite! The neck is arrow straight, frets and intonation excellent, and she’s light, supple, responsive, and just magic in the hands. 100% keeper.
Light and natural lacquer and play wear only; she’s been very well kept and cared for these 50(!) years. No cracks, breaks, repairs, or funny business. Enjoy!
