This instrument has been modded with Kluson Revolution self-locking tuners and a new nut. It has been played very little since it was purchased new in 2025.

Body & Construction

• Tonewoods: The thinline body is crafted from a traditional 3-ply maple/poplar/maple laminate, showcasing a beautiful, translucent natural wood grain. [1, 2, 3]

Neck & Playability

• Neck Profile & Wood: Built with a sturdy mahogany set neck carved into a comfortable Rounded "C" profile (or an authentic, chunkier '59 profile on Custom Shop reissues). [1, 2]
• Fingerboard: An Indian rosewood fretboard featuring a 12" radius, 22 medium jumbo frets, and distinctive acrylic small block inlays (standard models) or period-correct dot inlays (1959 reissues). [1, 2, 3]
• Historic Neck Joint: True to the earliest iterations, the neck joins the body at the 16th fret rather than the 19th fret. This deep-set construction optimizes bridge placement for enhanced warmth and sustain. [1, 2, 3]

Electronics & Hardware

• Pickups: Equipped with two Dogear P-90 single-coil pickups with black covers. They deliver everything from bright, woody, articulate cleans to gritty, snarling overdrive when pushed.
• Wiring: Hand-wired electronics utilizing premium 500k potentiometers and Orange Drop capacitors for transparent tonal control.
• Hardware: Features a classic trapeze tailpiece, an adjustable ABR-1 Tune-O-Matic bridge, a Graph Tech nut, and Vintage Deluxe tuners with white buttons.
