1985-86 TL52.

Based on 1950s specs with an ash body and maple neck, the TL52 has been a long-selling model since Fender Japan's launch in 1982. This unit is dated 1985-86 by its serial number, with a look showing appropriately aged character.

The rear pickup is the original US pickup; the front has been replaced with a Vanzandt. The rear position offers quick attack with solid midrange body, and the front is clear and natural, for a satisfying Telecaster sound. The neck is a rounded C shape with a substantial grip.
