A vintage Hagstrom III, made in Älvdalen, Sweden in the mid-1960s. Serial 601865 belongs to Hagström production batch 601. Most Hagstrom IIIs were made in 1966–67, and this one dates from roughly 1965–67. In the UK the same guitar was also sold as the "Futurama III".

The Hagstrom III is a classic of the European 1960s guitar scene. It has a solid birch body, a famously slim and fast neck, and three single-coil pickups with Hagström's characteristic slider switches. The sound is bright and jangly, with a lot of character, which made it ideal for beat, surf, garage and indie music.

Condition
This guitar has been played allot - the neck has suffered and maybe does need some love. For me its fine to play it like this, but each player probably has its preferences. it sounds amazing.

I saw, that there was a small repair at the tuner, there is a picture that clearly shows what has been done. The tuners work perfectly fine.

Electronics
Everything works, but its an old guitar, there might be a little crackling sound.

Originality
I bought it all original(thats what they told me) and i havent changed anything. Except for a decent setup, nothing has changed.

A great player-grade vintage guitar with real 60s character, at a fraction of the price of a vintage American guitar from the same era.
