The serial number is “GC 1595” which dates it to March 1967. The pots have date codes of “137-6648” which dates them to November 1966. The body is in very good condition overall, but has some small dings, scuffs and checking. Also a small crack in the binding on the F hole. Nothing out of the ordinary for a vintage guitar and there are no cracks or structural issues.

The neck is straight and the frets show average wear. It’s in very good playing condition and has no major issues. The fretboard is clean and the back of the neck has a few small nicks but no major dings or gouges. The headstock has small nicks around the edges but no cracks or repairs. The original owner changed the tuners to Schallers in the 70’s for which he widened the holes for the bushings and drilled extra holes on the back of the headstock. The originals are long gone and the Schallers didn’t look great so I installed some Kluson Deluxe ones from a 90’s Les Paul. Looks a lot better and the white buttons match the binding! The nut is 1.63” wide, the neck measures 0.80” thick at the 1st fret and 0.88” thick at the 12th fret.

The electronics are original and in excellent working condition. It comes in the original hardshell case which has some general wear on the outside. All of the latches, hinges and handle are in excellent working order and the interior has no bad odors. The original owner also glued a foam pad to the inside of the case to protect the guitar. I was able to remove it and got nearly all of the glue off, but there are still a few spots.

Actual weight for the guitar is 6 lbs 14 oz.

Please note that I do not set up my guitars before mailing. I have played it and everything is good as far as I'm concerned, but you may need to change the strings, adjust the action or do other maintenance to get it to your preferences.
