Martin 2003 D-28 CTM - a custom-shop take on the eternal standard D-28, for players who want the classic D-28 foundation with something more individual than the regular production model.
CTM models use select tonewoods of a different grade from the regular line. This one keeps the D-28's powerful, focused low end while adding finer, richer overtones and a very quick response that conveys every picking nuance. With over 20 years since it was built in 2003, the wood has dried thoroughly, giving a rounded, full voice and rich sustain that a new custom model cannot offer. Custom-model specs vary by order period and concept, so each one is essentially one of a kind.
