For sale is a set of R4000 neck and bridge pickups from JBE, Joe Barden Engineering, designed as a drop-in replacement for Rickenbacker 4003/4001 basses. These pickups are built to evoke the distinctive Rickenbacker bass sound, but with humbucking functionality. I had the set installed on my bass for about 10 months.

The neck pickup comes with a plate (pictured) that goes under it to mount to the original Rickenbacker neck pickup cover. The bridge pickups comes with screws and nuts installed (pictured) to attach to the original Rickenbacker bridge pickup assembly base plate.
