Schecter Session Riot-5 Left-Handed Electric Bass in Aged Natural Finish

Schecter Riot-5 Session LH Bass in Aged Natural Satin

The Session Riot-5 LH delivers a balanced, comfortable playing experience built on a 35-inch scale with a slim 'C'-shaped neck that accommodates both extended range work and traditional bass lines. This left-handed configuration serves players who need a pro-spec instrument without compromise. The swamp ash body paired with active EMG electronics produces articulate, punchy tone with excellent sustain and dynamic response.

Playability & Construction

The bolt-on maple neck features a 12-inch fretboard radius and 24 Narrow X-Jumbo frets for smooth position shifts and clean articulation across the extended range. A Graph Tech XL Black Tusq nut (1.771" width) and 2-way truss rod ensure stable intonation and neck relief adjustment, while the neck profile measures .826" at the first fret and .905" at the twelfth—dimensions optimized for extended sessions and modern playing demands.

Tone & Electronics

Dual EMG pickups—an EMG 40J at the neck and EMG 40DC at the bridge—run through a 3-band active EQ with master volume and blend controls. The 18-volt active electronics deliver articulate highs, controlled lows, and precise midrange shaping suitable for rock, progressive, and modern bass genres, while the screw-plate battery compartment ensures easy access for maintenance.
