A headless guitar from Ibanez's Quest series, developed for players seeking new sonic territory.

While inheriting popular features like headless design and multi-scale fanned frets from other Ibanez lines, the QX54QM was built from the ground up as an entirely new instrument rather than using existing headless hardware, aimed at a wider range of players.

Equipped with a Custom String Lock mechanism and a Dyna-MIX9 switching system with Alter Switch for flexible tone shaping and string gauge choices. Fitted with the R1/Q58 pickup developed specifically for the Q Series, voiced to complement the headless design's straightforward tone and pair well with a variety of amps and effects. Fanned frets ease upper-fret access even when holding the guitar high.
