A Custom Shop Tele with a Fiery Voice
This isn't your granddad's Telecaster, unless your granddad was a certified rock legend. The Fender Custom Shop LTD Telecaster Custom is a masterclass in guitar building, blending vintage soul with modern muscle. The foundation is a resonant roasted ash body, double-bound for a touch of class, and finished in a stunning Pearl White Lush Closet Classic lacquer. It feels alive in your hands, with a snap and sparkle that only gets better with age.
Red Hot Tone Machine
Under the hood, this Tele is hiding a secret weapon: a set of hand-wound TB Red Hot Telecaster pickups. These pups are overwound for scorching output, delivering a powerful midrange punch and sizzling highs without sacrificing that classic Tele twang. The bridge pickup uses Alnico 5 magnets for a tight, cutting presence, while the Alnico 2 neck pickup offers a warmer, more vocal character. From gritty country licks to full-bore rock and roll, these pickups clean up beautifully with a roll of the volume knob but are always ready to push your amp into glorious overdrive.
Effortless Playability
The neck is where the magic really happens. Carved from a gorgeous piece of AAA birdseye maple, it features a comfortable '59 Esquire “C” profile that feels just right. It's topped with a AAA rosewood fingerboard sporting a modern 9.5"-12" compound radius. This means you get the comfort of a vintage radius for chording down low and a flatter, faster feel for effortless bends and solos up high. Combined with medium jumbo frets, it’s a neck that just begs to be played all night long.

- In business since 1976! Moore Music has been a premier brick-and-mortar guitar shop in Evansville, Indiana since shortly after opening in 1976. Founder, Pat Moore, instilled in his business the concept of old-school service that we build upon today. When the current owner, Brett Mulzer, took the store online as Moore Guitars in 2013, we quickly developed a reputation for honesty and integrity in all our interactions with our customers. That’s a prime reason why we’re the fastest-growing online guitar shop.
- Old School Customer Service: Nothing is more important than helping a customer even if we don’t make a sale. We believe that if we’re honest with you, and treat you right, you’ll be back. Call us, or chat with us online. We love talking about guitars, and we want to help you find your perfect instrument. Even if it’s not from us.... but we think it will be!
- Our sales staff are all musicians! What’s more important than communication? We speak your language. Whether you’re a beginner or a professional player, we’ve been in your shoes. A lot of aspects of the guitar are intangible, and a non-player just can’t understand. It’s a guitar thing. But we can talk about tone and feel in the same language you use. We know what it means to love an instrument, and we want to help you find your new love.
You should have NO disappointments when you see this guitar and hold it for its first strum! Please call the staff at Moore Guitars if you would like to have a personal “on the phone” description of this guitar. Thank you for looking at our listing!
