1962–1964 Alamo Fiesta Vintage USA Electric Guitar w/ Original or Period-Correct Hardshell Case – Serial #12577

1962–1964 Alamo Fiesta Vintage USA Electric Guitar w/ Original Hardshell Case

Description:

Up for sale is a rare and exceptionally cool Alamo Fiesta electric guitar, made in San Antonio, Texas during the early 1960s. Serial number 12577 remains present on the back of the headstock.

If you're looking for something beyond the typical Fender, Gibson, Harmony, or Kay offerings of the era, the Alamo Fiesta is a unique piece of American guitar history. Built in Texas and produced in relatively small numbers, these guitars have developed a devoted following among collectors and vintage players for their distinctive styling and unmistakable vintage tone. Comparable Alamo Fiesta examples are documented from the early-to-mid 1960s.

Features:

• Original Alamo Fiesta model
• Made in San Antonio, Texas, USA
• Serial number: 12577

Condition:

This guitar presents very well for an instrument that is over 60 years old.

The finish shows expected age-related yellowing and minor cosmetic wear consistent with a vintage instrument. The headstock has a few edge chips and dings, and the hardware displays normal patina from age. The guitar appears substantially original, including the pickups, tuners, knobs, and hardware.

Please review all photos carefully as they form part of the description.

Case:

Included is a vintage fitted hardshell case that appears to be either:

• the original factory-supplied case, or
• a period-correct case from the early 1960s.

The fit is exceptionally good and consistent with cases commonly supplied with Alamo instruments during this period.

Why This Guitar Is Special

Alamo guitars were manufactured in Texas and never reached the production numbers of larger companies such as Fender or Gibson. As a result, surviving examples are becoming increasingly difficult to find, especially complete instruments with vintage fitted cases and original paperwork.

The Fiesta offers a distinctive mid-century American design, excellent vintage-correct aesthetics, and a tone that works particularly well for garage rock, surf, blues, roots rock, and recording applications.

Shipping

The guitar will be professionally packed and fully insured. Local pickup is also welcome.
