1989 Fender Japan ST57-55 Stratocaster in sunburst with a maple neck and fingerboard. I’ve upgraded it for a fuller, higher-output sound while retaining its classic Strat look.

Installed upgrades

• Seymour Duncan JB Jr. pickups in all three positions: SJBJ-1b bridge and SJBJ-1n middle and neck
• 920D Custom five-way Stratocaster wiring harness
• Gotoh Traditional Tremolo for Strat, relic chrome
• Replacement Strat control knobs
• Weight = 8.06 lbs

The electronics have been repaired and tested. All pickups, switch positions, and controls work properly, and the guitar plays and sounds great.

I fitted a black rear tremolo cover and black switch tip as a personal preference. A white rear cover is included; I do not have a white switch tip.

This guitar shows playing wear, including a visible finish chip on the body edge and other marks shown in the photos. Please review the original, unedited condition photos closely. The upgrades listed above are not original 1989 parts.

Included: Guitar, white rear cover, tremolo arm, and a gig bag
