Up for sale is an exceptionally clean Dunlop JBF3B Joe Bonamassa Signature Fuzz Face from the 2013 Limited Edition Run.

Dunlop produced this black version in a limited run of 2,000 pedals. It was designed specifically around Joe Bonamassa’s humbucker-driven tone and features a hand-wired circuit using matched NOS Russian military germanium transistors for added sustain, thickness, and a rich, creamy fuzz response.

This example is especially desirable because it includes its matching original JBF3B box, with identification AB66W939 appearing on both the box and the pedal’s removable back plate.

Original Factory Knobs Included

The pedal currently has replacement Volume and Fuzz control knobs installed. However, both original factory knobs have been retained and are included with the sale.

Condition and Originality

The pedal is in excellent cosmetic condition and has clearly been very well cared for.

I removed the back plate specifically to photograph the circuitry so prospective buyers can inspect the actual components, wiring, and germanium transistor pair rather than relying solely on the exterior condition.

The circuit is the classic full-size Bonamassa design rather than the later Mini version, with true bypass and the traditional Volume/Fuzz control layout. Dunlop describes this model as voiced for humbuckers with additional sustain and thickness.
