Lakland guitars are manufactured in three distinct lines: Skyline, Shoreline, and USA.

The model we’ve just received is the SL-60-44 from the Japanese-made Shoreline series.

Even now that production has ceased, it continues to enjoy enduring popularity thanks to its sound character—which still strongly reflects the manufacturer’s signature style—and its excellent playability.

Those in the know will recognize this guitar at a glance.

The pickguard has been replaced to match the specifications of the signature model designed by Hidekazu Hyuga (Hinacchi) for this brand.

There’s no doubt that Lakland’s widespread popularity throughout Japan is largely due to his contributions. For Lakland fans, he’s surely a familiar artist.

True to its Japanese-made quality, the condition is excellent, and the playability is flawless.

There is still plenty of adjustment range left on the truss rod, about 70% of the frets remain intact, and the electronics are currently in good working order, so you’ll be able to enjoy this guitar for many years to come.

As for signs of use, there are scattered dents and scratches, but there is no major damage to the top.

While it shows typical wear for a used instrument, the surface alone is in relatively good condition.

The back of the headstock features Hinacchi’s autograph—a delightful bonus for fans.

Don’t miss out on this one.
