Sony C37A Tube Condenser Microphone
For sale is a rare vintage Sony C37A Tube Condenser Microphone. This was originally a C37 FET that was professionally converted by our mic tech expert over to a C37A Tube model. The C37 FET internal parts were removed and replaced with a C37A circuit. The capsile in a C37 FET is the same as a C37A. The pattern from cardioid and omni is changed from a screw on the back of the capsule (note: only the pattern screw works, no other controls on the mic regarding patterns function. The pad switch has been completely removed). It includes a custom built power supply with internal Lundahl LL1570 output transformer. New cable comes attached to the mic. It's also been professionally serviced as needed and sounds excellent. This is a great option if you've been looking for a C37A Tube mic completely gone through for reliable performance and vintage tone.
