Fender Road Worn ’60s Stratocaster in Olympic White, made in Mexico in 2012.

A great example from the earlier Road Worn series, featuring the classic ’60s-style specifications, a beautifully aged Olympic White nitrocellulose finish and the naturally played-in feel these guitars are known for.

The guitar is equipped with its original Tex-Mex single-coil pickups, delivering classic Strat tones ranging from clear and glassy cleans to punchy, slightly gritty blues and rock sounds.

The guitar plays very comfortably and has the broken-in neck feel that makes the Road Worn series so enjoyable to play.

As expected with a Road Worn model, the guitar has a factory-aged/relic finish. Please check the photos carefully for its current condition.

These earlier Road Worn ’60s models are no longer part of Fender’s current regular production and have become increasingly interesting for players looking for a vintage-style Strat without stepping up to Custom Shop territory.

A great playing and sounding Strat that I would happily keep, but I’m currently reducing some gear.
