Brunswick BTK60EB Grand Auditorium Electro Acoustic – Ebony

We’re delighted to welcome Brunswick Guitars to Chordplay.

Brunswick has built a strong reputation for producing affordable acoustic guitars that are comfortable to play, beautifully finished and excellent value for money. We’ve selected the range carefully for the shop, and the BTK60EB is one of the most striking guitars in the entire line-up.

This particular example is especially impressive. The ebony used across the body has an unusually bold, strongly striped appearance, with rich dark figuring broken up by vivid amber and orange streaks. Because natural timber varies from instrument to instrument, this one really does have its own character.

Importantly, Brunswick guitars are set up here in the UK before arriving with us, giving each instrument a far better starting point than the typical straight-from-the-box budget acoustic. We then give every guitar a further check at Chordplay before it is offered for sale.

The guitar shown in our photographs is the actual guitar for sale.

Brunswick BTK60EB

The BTK60EB is a beautifully finished Grand Auditorium cutaway electro-acoustic featuring an ebony top, back and sides beneath a deep gloss finish.

And this particular guitar is an absolute beauty.

The ebony has been cut with exceptionally prominent natural striping running across the top, back and sides. Against the darker base colour, those warm contrasting streaks really stand out, and the high-gloss finish adds even more depth to the figuring. It is the sort of guitar that immediately catches your eye from across the shop.

The Grand Auditorium body shape provides an excellent balance between comfort and acoustic projection. It feels manageable whether played seated or standing, while the cutaway offers easy access further up the fingerboard.

Acoustically, the BTK60EB offers a clear, balanced response with plenty of definition, making it equally comfortable with open chord work, more intricate picking and general accompaniment.

For a player looking to move beyond their first instrument, or anyone wanting a stage-ready electro-acoustic with genuinely distinctive looks, this offers an awful lot at £229.

Built-In Electronics

The BTK60EB comes fitted with a pickup and active preamp system, allowing it to plug directly into an acoustic amplifier, PA system or recording setup.

The onboard controls include:

• Volume

• Bass

• Middle

• Treble

• Presence

• Phase switch

• Built-in tuner

• LED display

It gives you plenty of control over the amplified sound while keeping everything conveniently mounted on the guitar itself.

The dark stained mahogany neck provides a comfortable playing feel, while the composite technical wood fingerboard and bridge complement the darker ebony body beautifully. Enclosed die-cast machineheads provide reliable tuning and complete the smart, contemporary specification.

Why Brunswick at Chordplay?

As an official Brunswick dealer, we wanted a range of new acoustic guitars that we could confidently put into the hands of players at sensible prices.

Every Brunswick guitar we receive has been set up in the UK prior to arriving at Chordplay, and we inspect each instrument again before sale. That means whether this is your first electro-acoustic or simply your next one, you can buy knowing it has been properly prepared and checked before it reaches you.

With the natural variation found in woods such as ebony, no two examples will look exactly alike, which is why we photograph the individual guitar you are buying.
