Here is a beautiful vintage Martin 0-16ny from 1964

These are often regarded as Martins first attempt at a 'Vintage Reissue' model, in that the "New York" designation was a loose interpretation of the pre 1890s models that were stamped 'New York'.

This was during the folk revival of the early 60s when artists such as Bob Dyan and Joan Baez were employing vintage classics to craft their now iconic sound.

The guitar has a nice n wide 1 7/8 nut width, 12 fret body size, slot headstock, and is lightly braced for a vibrant tone.

The back and sides are mahogany, top spruce.

We have installed a fresh set of Martin 'Silk and Phosphor' strings, which provide a low tension while still giving the clarity and tone of Phosphor bronze.

The guitar has nice low action, plays wonderfully, and the tone is that warm and wonderful sound that perfectly compliments a singer songwriter style.
