Description

High-output active tone, controllable sustain, and double-locking tremolo expression give the Schecter Guitar Research C-1 Platinum FR S a formidable set of tools for modern heavy playing. A mahogany body with quilted maple top joins a 3-piece maple neck through Schecter's Ultra Access set-neck construction, while the thin "C" profile and 14" radius rosewood fingerboard support precise riffing and fast lead work.

An EMG 81 bridge pickup supplies focused attack and high-gain definition, while the Sustainiac neck system extends notes into sustained fundamentals and harmonics. A Floyd Rose Special tremolo, Grover tuners, and satin chrome hardware complete a performance-focused 24-fret platform built for expressive, technically demanding playing.
