Celestion T1417 G12S Greenback 12" Speaker Pulsonic Cone 1973
Model T1417 G12S Greenback speaker 20w 16 Ohm, with highly sought after Pulsonic '3' cone, made March 1973 according to CF date code.
Slightly smaller magnet than a G12M.
Very similar in tone to the classic G12M T1221 'greenback'. The only difference is the magnet weight, which is 7oz less. The cone assembly itself is the exact same which results in a little less bass, a little less volume, and a little more warmth in the mid range, compared to a T1221.
Apparently it's Dr Decibels favourite speaker.
