----------------------------------

We’ve received an EG500C manufactured around 1981, as indicated by the serial number on the back of the headstock.

This is a prime example of a Japanese vintage guitar beloved by players around the world.

It’s a legendary guitar that vied for popularity with its rival, Tokai’s LS series.

It features a mahogany back and maple top,

a mahogany neck with a comfortable grip, and a rosewood fingerboard with a beautiful luster—a finish that’s become increasingly rare these days.

Its appeal lies in its appearance, which pays homage to the original, its excellent craftsmanship—a hallmark of Japanese artisans—

and a sound that holds its own even when compared to the original.

The tuning pegs, frets, and nut are in their original condition.

The pickups have been replaced with Seymour Duncan models, which are highly regarded among musicians.

Both the SH-2n and SH-16 are gold-covered.

The entire wiring has been completely overhauled, making it exceptionally practical.

The toggle switch is a standard mm-spec model, the POD is Switchcraft, and the volume and tone controls are speed-type.

The overall scratches and dents from years of playing lend it a dignified character.

There is still plenty of height remaining on the frets and nut.

The truss rod moves freely in both directions; currently, the neck has no significant warping and is easy to play.

Unlike today’s artificially aged or “relic” instruments,

this guitar possesses a unique charm that comes from having seen it all.

Weight: Approx. 4.03 kg

Comes with a third-party soft case

※Please note the color on your display might be slightly different from the actual color.
