Up for sale is a 2022 Gibson Custom Shop Theodore Archive Series, from the first production run of just 318 guitars.
Originally designed by Ted McCarty in 1957 but never produced at the time, the Theodore was finally brought to life by Gibson Custom decades later as part of the Archive Collection. Its distinctive double-cutaway body shape, vintage-inspired appointments, and Custom Shop construction make it one of Gibson’s more unique modern limited-production models.
This example is in excellent overall condition and shows no fret wear. It has been very well cared for and is a fantastic example for the player or collector looking for something far less common than the usual Les Paul, SG, or ES model.

Condition, Shipping, & Setup Details:
I specialize in selling pre-owned guitars, which typically show signs of regular use. My commitment to quality is unwavering, and I ensure that any guitar I offer for sale is free from problems, unless explicitly mentioned. With a history of selling guitars dating back to the 1980s, I pride myself on selecting only the finest instruments.
It's important to understand that our shipping fees encompass more than just the cost of the box. I guarantee professional packaging using UPS-approved materials to safeguard your purchase. This typically includes new, heavy-duty boxes rated at 275lbs, 3-inch wide brown fiberglass reinforced tape, ensuring the guitar is well-protected. Additionally, every guitar shipped is fully insured for its sale price.
The guitars are set up according to my personal preferences (Medium Height), and I strictly avoid guitars with neck issues. However, guitar setup is highly subjective, and it is advisable to have it adjusted by a trusted local technician who understands your specific playstyle and preferences.
