Pigtronix Disnortion Analog Octave / Fuzz / Overdrive Pedal – B-Stock

Pigtronix OFO Disnortion Analog Octave / Fuzz / Overdrive – B-Stock – Box & Manual

The Pigtronix OFO Disnortion combines three distinct analog effects—Overdrive, Fuzz, and Octava octave-up—in a unique circuit designed for aggressive, harmonically rich tones while retaining clarity and dynamics.

The Fuzz and Overdrive run in parallel, allowing you to stack massive amounts of gain without losing the punch and low-end response of your instrument. Independent tone and shape controls let you focus each effect across different frequency ranges, while the Octava section runs in series before the Fuzz and Overdrive for gnarly octave-up textures and gated, harmonic-heavy grind.

Features

• Overdrive: Proprietary 5-stage gain architecture with highly dynamic response
• Goes from clean or gritty boost through heavier Plexi-style overdrive
• Fuzz: Massive gain, full sustain, compression, and controllable feedback
• Six rotary fuzz EQ curves: Bass, Scoop, Treble, Smooth, F.A.T., and Full Range
• Octava: Octave-up frequency doubler based on the classic Tycobrahe Octavia
• Octava filter control for shaping the octave-up response
• Octava runs in series before the Fuzz and Overdrive
• Parallel Fuzz/Overdrive configuration maintains clarity and low-end response
• Buffered output for parallel processing, direct recording, or side-chain applications

The Octava can produce singing octave-up lead tones, while different intervals can generate more unusual, ring-modulator-like textures. Combining the Octava with the Fuzz and Overdrive opens up everything from thick harmonic lead tones to extreme, gnarly distortion.

The Disnortion is a particularly versatile choice for players looking for something beyond a conventional overdrive or fuzz. Its combination of parallel fuzz and overdrive with a series octave-up circuit gives it a wide range of conventional and highly unusual sounds.
