Solid okoume spruce top delivers great tone that gets better with age
Sweetwater knows that the choice of top wood can make or break the sound of an acoustic guitar. For the AC240OPN Artwood acoustic, Ibanez chose a solid okoume top. Chosen as much for its look as its tone, solid mahogany has a well-rounded, rich sound with excellent sustain and tonal depth. And because it's a solid-wood top, the tone will age gracefully, with enhanced harmonics and greater tonal balance as the years go by.
