The Taylor 618e is part of Taylor's high-end 600 Series and combines the company's largest body shape with the classic pairing of Sitka spruce and beautifully figured Big Leaf Maple. The Grand Orchestra delivers a powerful, full sound while remaining remarkably balanced and responsive to different playing styles.

This 2022 example belongs to the redesigned generation featuring V-Class Bracing. Its solid Sitka spruce top and solid figured Big Leaf Maple back and sides produce a clear, transparent tone with excellent projection, a deep foundation and long sustain.

A particular highlight is the exceptionally beautiful flame figure on the maple back. The intense and remarkably even figuring is truly impressive and rarely seen to this extent, even on a 618e. The Antique Blonde finish beautifully showcases the natural grain. Mother of Pearl Mission inlays, a single-ring Paua rosette and maple binding with Koa purfling complete the elegant 600 Series appearance.

For amplified use, the guitar is equipped with Taylor's Expression System 2.
