Lag Roxanne Original Classic - Chevron Flame Maple Top - Black Shadow - RARE!!!

This guitar is a Lag Original Roxanne Classic, made in France.

The guitar was made in Bédarieux, Southern France in 1998. That time Michelle Lag made High - End guitars to compete against PRS or similar brands and this guitar is a prime example of fine craftmanship.

The body is mahogany . The neck is hard rock Canadian maple and the fingerboard is rosewood. According to the brochure this is supposed to be Brazilian rosewood.

The top is an amazing Chevron Flame maple thik piece and the finish is a rare Black Shadow. Very few guitars from this model were painted in that color.

The pickups are Lag Custom Alnico 5.

The resonance and the sound of this guitar are amazing!!!

Condition

The condition is excellent. There are three surface chips / dings ( at the front near the Bigsby, at the back and a very light one at the edge ) , which are shown on the pictures. No belt or buckle marks. No other issues. Everything else you you might see in the pictures is just reflection from the light.

The neck, the fingerboard and the frets are in prestine condition. Also all the rest of the hardware is in mint condition. You may see it on the pictures.

The guitar comes with a Thomann hardcase.
