GRETSCH GB4161S BROOKLYN 10X5 CHROME OVER STEEL SNARE DRUM - FLOOR MODEL

The Gretsch GB4161S Brooklyn is a 10x5 snare drum built on a 2mm steel shell with a Chrome over Steel finish and a center knurl. Six lugs, 45 degree bearing edges, Gretsch 302 3mm double-flanged steel hoops, and a Lightning throw-off complete the package. It suits drummers adding a compact side snare to a kit on stage or in the studio.

The thick steel shell gives you a bright, powerful attack with projection that holds up on a rimshot or in the center of the head. The 302 hoops keep the timbre more open and ambient than die-cast hoops, and the 20-strand wires stay articulate across jazz, pop, reggae, rock, and country work. This one is our floor model, so it never left the showroom. It shows light stick marks and stays like new otherwise, with full mechanical and cosmetic function.
