Short Description:

Vintage-inspired 30" short-scale build finished in Soft Aged Sonic Blue, featuring a lightweight alder body, Canadian hardrock maple neck, aged Sandberg hardware, and a single metal-covered powerhumbucker with push/pull tone cuts.

What We Think:

Combine retro garage-rock style with German precision in the Sandberg Florence! Weighing in at 7 lbs 4 oz, this short-scale bass features a lightweight alder body finished in a tastefully distressed Soft Aged Sonic Blue, anchored by a 4-bolt Canadian hard rock maple neck and a matching 20-fret maple fingerboard with black dot inlays. Its comfortable 30" scale length delivers immediate playability and a tight, focused low-end response. At the heart of its sound is a single high-output powerhumbucker encased in a vintage-style metal cover, wired to a straightforward passive Volume and Tone circuit with a push/pull control that unlocks two distinct tone cuts. Outfitted with custom aged Sandberg hardware and shipped in a deluxe gig bag, the Florence delivers punchy, raw vintage mojo paired with bulletproof reliability.
