The BOSS TU-2 Chromatic Tuner is a pedal-style guitar/bass tuner. It lets you tune your instrument quickly and accurately using your foot while you're playing.

You plug your guitar or bass into the INPUT, and the TU-2 detects the note you're playing. Its LED display tells you whether the note is:

• Flat → tune the string higher
• Sharp → tune the string lower
• In tune → the indicator centers on the correct pitch

It's chromatic, meaning it can recognize all 12 notes, so you're not limited to standard tuning.

Useful features

• Mute/bypass function: You can mute your instrument while tuning, which is very useful on stage.
• Multiple tuning modes: Supports standard chromatic tuning as well as several other modes.
• Pitch reference: Can provide a reference pitch for tuning by ear.
• Power supply: Can run from a 9V battery or adapter.
• BOSS buffered bypass: The pedal can help maintain your signal when you're running several pedals and a long cable.
