For sale is my 2010 Collings 290 in a beautiful translucent Cherry Red finish.
This is a superb example of Collings’ take on the classic double P-90, single-cut electric guitar. It has an exceptionally resonant and lively feel, with the clarity, definition and build quality for which Collings guitars are renowned. The two original P-90 pickups deliver everything from warm, articulate cleans to powerful and expressive overdriven tones.
The guitar remains original apart from a professionally fitted bone nut. It received a professional setup in March 2025 and is currently fitted with 10-gauge strings. The neck feels comfortable, the action is very playable, and all electronics operate as they should. The setup receipt will be included.
As expected from a guitar made in 2010, it shows honest signs of use, including light surface scratches, small marks and general playwear. Please study the photographs carefully, as they form part of the description. There are no known structural issues, and the guitar presents very well overall with plenty of character.
It comes with its Collings hard case, which is also in good used condition.
