The American Special series was developed to allow players of all skill levels to enjoy the quality of US-made Fender guitars. In addition to the existing lineup, the sunburst color has been revived. It is available in two versions: with a rosewood fingerboard and with a maple fingerboard.

There are some minor scratches and dents throughout, pick scratches on the pickguard, small original dents in the paintwork, scratches on the back of the body, and some tarnishing on the parts, but none of these affect playability. We have performed a full maintenance and cleaning at our shop, so it is ready to use immediately. The tuning peg for the first string has been replaced with one with a shorter shaft. There are no issues with its current operation.

The frets have been leveled and are ready to use. Approximately 80% of the fret life remains.
The nuts are in good working order and function normally. The truss rods also function correctly for normal adjustments.
