Selling my barely-played Taylor 214ce-K DLX. This is the deluxe version of the Taylor 214ce, and it is one that looks like a guitar three times its price.

The Koa. The whole reason to get this over the standard 214ce is the layered Hawaiian Koa back and sides - rich, warm, and gorgeous. The grain is consistent and back and sides match beautifully, giving the guitar a unified, high-end look that the standard rosewood model simply doesn't have. The cream binding frames it nicely.

The Top. Solid Sitka Spruce with Taylor's forward-shifted bracing pattern. Big, clear, and dynamic. It projects well acoustically and the spruce/koa combo gives you a warmer, rounder tone than the spruce/rosewood version.

The Neck & Fretboard. Neo-Tropical Mahogany neck with the satin finish, Crelicam Ebony fingerboard with 20 medium frets and Taylor's small diamond inlays. 1-11/16" nut, 15" radius, 25.5" scale. Plays fast and comfortable.

Electronics. Taylor Expression System 2 (ES2) - behind-the-saddle transducer with adjustable sensors. Plugs in clean and natural, no feedback issues, 2-band EQ with phase filter. Stage-ready!
