The Synergy 800 Preamp Module is designed to be used with Synergy's modular hardware systems. It features two 12AX7 tubes, dual channels with gain, volume, and bright switches, a shared 3-band EQ, and a cathode select switch to fine-tune bass response.

CATHODE SELECT SWITCH
The Synergy 800 Preamp Module features a three position switch on the PCB which allows you to configure the input tube bass response to match the original circuit of the selected module. This will affect the feel and tightness.

• JCM800 Foundation: The module aims to accurately replicate the sound of the iconic Marshall JCM800 amplifier, a staple in rock and metal music.
• Dual Channels: It provides two channels, offering both the classic crunch of the original amp and an even higher-gain, "hot-rodded" version with additional harmonic richness.
• Tube-Driven Sound: Powered by two 12AX7 tubes, the module delivers the dynamic, warm, and responsive tone characteristic of tube amplifiers.
• Bright Switches: Each channel includes a bright switch, allowing players to enhance high-frequency content and ensure their notes cut through the mix.
• Shared 3-Band EQ: A single 3-band EQ provides versatile tonal shaping for both channels.
• Cathode Select Switch: This switch allows you to alter the input tube bass response to mimic different JCM800 circuits, influencing the feel and tightness of the sound.
• Modular Design: The 800 Preamp Module is designed to be interchangeable and easily installed into Synergy's preamp docks, allowing for a wide range of classic tones within a single system.
• Portability: With its compact and lightweight design, it's ideal for both gigging and studio use, making it easy to swap into different Synergy amps as needed.
