This is a beautiful and extremely comfortable 5 string multi-scale bass that plays fast with a solid B string and plenty of EQ shaping possibilities. The bass is stock hardware/electronics with very minimal play wear. See the pictures for the main defect - some small scratches on the bottom edge of the body below the electronics. The rest of the bass is in more or less excellent condition, which is why I chose that for the listing. Please look over the pictures and ask questions before purchasing - sold as is.

I only used the bass for in-home play and recording - it has never been played outside of the house. The official video I linked just has an example of "jazz" playing for lack of a better term, but I mainly played metal/hard rock. If the pickups had to be categorized as dark or bright, I would say towards the dark side (not muddy), but with a little bit of upper mids and treble, this bass comes through clear and excelled for those genres.

Included/the bass will be boxed up and shipped in an Ibanez MRB500C hard case - around $300 new. See the pictures for the adjustable foam blocks as the case can be adjusted to fit any bass. The neck cavity can also be adjusted to fit a 4 string neck vs. a 5/6 string neck.
