The Super HD-28 delivers thunderous bass, long sustain, and unmatched projection thanks to its larger body and forward-shifted scalloped bracing—all wrapped in rich rosewood tone, vintage herringbone style, and timeless Martin craftsmanship.

The Martin Super HD-28 expands on the legendary Style 28 Dreadnought with a larger-than-life design. With 20% more internal air volume than a standard Dreadnought, this Super D body offers thunderous bass and unmatched projection. A solid spruce top, paired with solid East Indian rosewood back and sides, delivers rich overtones and a complex sound that will only open up over time. Forward-shifted Golden Era scalloped X-bracing, as featured on the Modern Deluxe Series, delivers vintage-inspired tone and sustain, while appointments like bold herringbone trim, antique white binding, and diamond-and-square inlays showcase timeless Martin style. Complete with nickel open gear tuners and a dovetail neck joint, the Super HD-28 is a bold evolution of an acoustic icon—built for players who want to be heard.
