Larrivee Pete Anderson 14 fret prototype/factory mistake 2000 Sunburst Matte finish
This is the prototype of maybe 4 or 5 Larrivee 14 fret cutaway guitars. Originally made for Pete Anderson as a second signature model but he switched companies he was endorsing and it never happened. The standard Pete Anderson was a 12 fret non cutaway. The luthier building this guitar set the bridge with a 12 fret template and realized his mistake and reset the bridge in the proper spot. It was not for sale to the general public because of the mistake. A Larrivee sales rep had it for several years before I purchased 7 years ago.The original bridge location is covered. Guitar sounds and plays great. Frets in good condition. Ebony fingerboard spruce top and flamed maple back and sides. Fishman pickup.
Original case included.
