Fender Classic Player Telecaster Deluxe — Black Dove | 2012 | Crimson Red Transparent

A distinctive and versatile Telecaster that's hard to find in this configuration. The Black Dove was Fender's twist on the '70s-era Telecaster Deluxe — same alder body, four-bolt maple neck, large 70s-style Stratocaster headstock, bullet truss rod, skirted amp knobs, independent volume and tone controls, and three-position toggle. Same as it never was, as Fender put it.

This one has been upgraded with a Seymour Duncan TBPR-1b P-Rails Trembucker in the bridge — hand-built in Santa Barbara, F-spaced (2.070" pole spacing), 4-conductor wiring, vacuum wax potted. It's a full-size humbucker that splits down to a genuine P-90 or an Alnico rail single-coil. Wired here with dual push-pull pots, giving you all four voicings:

• Series humbucker — full, thick, punchy
• Parallel humbucker — open, articulate, PAF-adjacent
• P-90 only — fat, vintage, growly
• Rail single-coil — Strat-like, positions 2 and 4 territory

That's a more versatile wiring scheme than the standard on-off-on switch setup — buyers who know P-Rails will recognize it immediately.

Condition is excellent. One small ding on the front, visible in photos. Otherwise very few signs of play. Comfortable belly cut. Includes the original Fender soft case.
