Mad Professor Twimble Overdrive / Boost

The Ultimate "D-Style" Touch-Sensitive Drive — Discontinued & Hard to Find

Up for sale is a heavily sought-after and currently sold-out Mad Professor Twimble. Widely regarded as one of the best Dumble-style pedals on the market, the Twimble is a brilliant collaboration combining two of Mad Professor’s finest circuits: the Simble Overdrive and the Simble Predrive.

Tailored specifically to work in harmony, these two sections give you an incredibly organic, 3-dimensional tone with sweet compression, upper harmonic enhancement, and unmatched touch sensitivity. From a pristine clean boost that pushes your amp's front end to smooth, singing lead tones, it cleans up exceptionally well just by rolling back your guitar's volume knob. It plays wonderfully with both single-coils and humbuckers without ever masking your guitar’s natural sonic footprint.

Key Features:

• Dual-Circuit Design: Combines the transparent boost/compression of the Simble Predrive with the rich, touch-sensitive crunch of the Simble Overdrive.
• Interactive Controls: * Sensitivity & Level: Dial in your precise amount of distortion, compression, and output volume.
• • Accent: Adjusts pick attack and adds harmonic punch or brightens dark pickups.
  • Contour: Sculpts the overall output frequency (turn clockwise for enhanced top-end clarity or counter-clockwise for a warmer, jazzier response).
• True Bypass & Low current draw.

Condition:

• Good condition, fully working with no technical issues. * Features standard player's wear (as clearly shown in the photos).
• Quality Velcro is neatly applied to the bottom for easy pedalboard mounting.

• Collection preferred from Scunthorpe.
• Happy to post securely if the buyer covers postage costs.
