The 1980 Gibson Marauder in Mocha (Walnut/Brown) finish with a maple neck and maple fingerboard is one of the last production years of the model. Gibson officially discontinued the Marauder in 1980, although a small number were assembled into early 1981. These late guitars are becoming increasingly collectible because they represent Gibson's unique collaboration with pickup designer Bill Lawrence.

One knob has a chip inside and there are a few dings around the edges. Pick scratches on the pickguard. A wear spot on the back of the neck probably from a stand. This does not impact playability. Case is likely original but is not marked Gibson. The case was made for this guitar.
