Squier Stratocaster SE (CXS) 2004 - Sunburst, Glossy (USED)

Up for sale is a guitar enthusiast modder's dream ... the Squier Stratocaster SE in sunburst with tortoise pickguard.  This guitar is highly sought after and very rare to come by.

This guitar is not in perfect condition. There are some cosmetic scratches from years of love, but it is a perfect guitar for modding! (this is why I buy these SE models, but I simply have too many). When I purchased this guitar, I was very critical because I planned to make it a daily player, but I have to thin the herd.

The quality of the Squier SE is significantly higher than today's Affinity or Bullets.  To start, the SE is full thickness ... not like today's thin-bodied Squiers.  This allows for all sorts of modding magic ... including adding a full sized trem block without a chunk of it sticking out the rear of your newer Squier. Strat parts are a straight swap and the tone of these are far superior to lesser model squiers that are avail new.

It seems to play okay now, but it is ready to be modified to reach its true potential. Make this your dream guitar.  Update the pickups, tuners, trem block ... and make it your own.  Comes with gig bag. The trem bar and the back trem cover are missing, but the bones of this guitar are awesome. This guitar sounds and feels great, but the pots are a little scratchy. Please review the photos carefully as they are part of the description.
