The Sandberg Florence Bass in Tobacco Sunburst Soft Aged finish brings together classic bass character, understated elegance, and the unmistakable craftsmanship of Sandberg. Designed as a 4-string short-scale bass, the Florence combines a traditional visual spirit with modern playability, making it an expressive instrument for players who value comfort, warmth, and personality.

Its alder body provides a balanced tonal foundation, offering a clear, resonant response with a pleasing warmth that allows every note to speak naturally. The Canadian Hard Rock Maple neck and fingerboard complement the body with a lively feel and articulate attack. With a comfortable 30-inch scale and 14-inch fingerboard radius, the Florence feels inviting in the hands while remaining remarkably versatile across the fingerboard.

A Sandberg Forty Eight pickup with top cap delivers the instrument's voice with clarity, punch, and vintage-inspired character. The passive configuration keeps the signal path direct and organic, allowing the natural personality of the bass to remain at the forefront. Black dot inlays provide subtle visual guidance across the 22-fret fingerboard, while the parchment pickguard adds a warm contrast to the Tobacco Sunburst finish.

The Soft Aged treatment gives this Florence an immediately familiar character, creating the appearance of an instrument that has already lived a life of music while retaining the refinement of a carefully crafted new bass. Aged chrome hardware reinforces that aesthetic, adding a gently worn elegance that complements the finish without overpowering the natural beauty of the alder body.

Configured for right-handed players and weighing 7 lbs 11 oz, the Florence offers the balance and portability that make a short-scale bass particularly appealing. A gig bag is included for convenient transport and protection.

With its compact 30-inch scale, comfortable maple neck and fingerboard, passive Sandberg Forty Eight pickup, aged appointments, and beautifully understated Tobacco Sunburst Soft Aged finish, the Sandberg Florence is a bass with an unmistakable sense of character. It feels familiar from the first note, yet carries enough individuality to make its own mark.
