Streamlined Sophistication for Any Player

The Gretsch Streamliner CVT fuses historic body stylings with a wealth of performance-focused features to ignite or further bolster your guitar-playing journey. Based on the company’s older Corvette models, this powerhouse boasts a contoured mahogany body and neck joint to maximize comfort in all playing positions, ideal for musicians new to holding a solidbody. When combined with a “Fast" C mahogany neck and a laurel fingerboard, this configuration allows unencumbered access to the entire neck for expressive, effortless playability. At the electronics level, guitarists give high praise to the HotWire High Output Ceramic Humbuckers, which deliver high-octane, modern sonics with impressive vintage-style clarity, perfect for trying your hand at coaxing a classic rock sound from your amp. What's more, Gretsch’s Perfect Pitch Head Angle, Graph Tech NuBone nut, Die-cast Sealed tuners, and a compensated Wraparound bridge work together to keep your tuning stable and consistent between performances. Adorned with elegant cream fingerboard binding and classic Gretsch appointments such as Pearloid Neo-Classic Thumbnail fret inlays, black speed knobs, and a Split-V headstock, the Streamline CVT delivers the timeless Gretsch character you crave, combined with accessible features for diving into contemporary playing, no matter your skill level.

Built to perform

The Streamliner CVT’s double-cutaway mahogany body is built for unfettered comfort. Its contoured edges conform to your own shape, allowing you to easily break out your best rock star moves without feeling restricted. The mahogany neck, carved to Gretsch’s “Fast” C profile, encourages dexterous movement across all 22 frets, helping to confidently build up players' left-hand speed. For reliable and accurate tuning, a set of Die-cast Sealed Tuners is on hand to deliver precise adjustments, while the Pitch Perfect Head Angle provides an optimal break angle at the nut to reinforce tuning stability without excessive string tension. Additionally, the pre-compensated Wraparound bridge ensures hassle-free intonation, keeping you in tune throughout your entire set. The Streamliner CVT leaves no doubt — Gretsch designed this guitar with the developing rocker in mind.

Scorching-hot output

Diving into the Streamliner CVT's electronics, players will immediately notice the HotWire High Output Ceramic Humbucker set. With both coils of the bridge pickup wound to matching standards, the pair delivers a midrange-focused voice for fiery riffs worthy of churning out hard rock or metal. Flipping over to the neck pickup reveals a depth and clarity equally suited for crystalline cleans and singing, sustaining solos. Both pickups are vacuum wax-potted to eliminate noise interference, ensuring the cleanest signal regardless of playing style or genre.
