The Zildjian FX Small Bell Raw Crash (model FXRCSM) is a highly unconventional effects cymbal designed for drummers looking for a dry, aggressive, and unique sound. Developed through Zildjian's Concept Shop, it's intentionally left in a raw, unfinished state to produce a character unlike traditional crash cymbals.

Key Features

• Raw, unfinished bronze – The cymbal is not hammered, lathed, or trimmed into a perfect circle, giving it an irregular shape and appearance.
• Small bell design – Compared to the Large Bell version, the small bell produces:
• • Less bell volume
  • Fewer overtones
  • A more controlled, drier sound
• Quick attack and fast decay – Delivers an explosive crash that disappears quickly instead of lingering.
• Can double as a ride – Despite being called a crash, many drummers use it as an alternate ride because it has excellent stick definition and a dry, cutting ping.
