2011 Gibson Les Paul Classic Plus in Vintage Sunburst, featuring a Grade-AA figured/flame maple top, mahogany body and neck, bound fingerboard, and nickel hardware. This is a great-looking, great-playing example of the classic Les Paul formula, with a carved maple top over a mahogany body, a set mahogany neck, bound rosewood fingerboard and comfortable slim ’60s-style neck profile.

The original pickups have been replaced with a set of Suhr Thornbuckers. These are excellent PAF-style humbuckers that give the guitar a clear, articulate vintage voice while still delivering plenty of warmth, sustain and punch. They sound terrific clean, respond well to dynamics and open up beautifully with overdrive.

The original Gibson humbuckers are included and are believed to be the factory pickup set, though they carry no model-specific markings, so the guitar can be returned to its factory configuration if desired. Aside from the pickup swap, all of the guitar’s original parts remain with it.

This has been a working guitar rather than a case queen. It has been played in bands and used for gigging, so there is normal cosmetic wear consistent with a 15-year-old instrument, including the usual light scratches, marks and signs of handling. Nothing about the wear takes away from its appearance or performance—it looks like a Les Paul that has actually been played and enjoyed.

Guitar weighs 9lbs, no fret wear or previous repairs, and no buckle rash. The guitar includes a hard-shell case (not Gibson branded).
