Studer 961 16ch + 2 comp/limiters + 28 line amps

For sale 2 Studer 961 frames:

At the moment, one of them is loaded with 14 mic/line channels with EQ, 2 stereo line amps and 2 master modules with compressor/limiters, and the other one is loaded with 12 stereo line amps.

The frames can be daisy chained. There are two additional mic/line channels included. One of these is a-ok, the other exhibits some intermittent crackling and could use some service.

The channels feature post eq, pre-fader direct outs on the insert send (Tiny Telephone/Bantam).

PSU was recapped in May 2025. The smaller frame comes in a sturdy flight case.

The smaller frame with the mic/line channels is a great multichannel recording front end. The pres and eqs are super sweet sounding, and can be pushed into gentle transformer saturation if desired.

The larger frame could be made into a fantastic analog summer, using the line amps in combination with the 2 master modules.
